Amina and Nadeem Congratulations

I had to share the most exotic wedding ceremony I've ever been a part of. Thank you so much for letting us take part in such a beautiful occasion. I must have looked like a child going to six flags for the first time. The wonderful hospitality and the tradition that I witnessed was incredible. Amina, I felt as if I was witnessing the wedding day of one of the most incredible women I have ever met. You impressed me so much I can't express how truly amazing you are.
Humbly, Sherry

Funny Story

This is a picture of my stepdaughter Taylor. My husband is an avid duck hunter. When I say avid, I really mean obsessed beyond any reasoning. Anyway, one morning Taylor decided she really wanted to go with Dad duck hunting. So, Kevin went to "Rural King" for some stylish duck attire for Taylor. Once out in the duck blind Taylor decided she needed to go "potty". Kevin let Taylor dress herself for the trip not thinking that the young fashion conscious little girl thought of her NEW outfit as an outfit that did not need underware under it. Needless to say, Taylor nearly stripped down to nothing in order to potty outside.

Taylor shared her sentiments with her father about the whole experience by saying, "Dad, duck hunting was fun, but not REAL fun."

Ahhh the memories of a father and daughter. Cute!!

Kylie Hudgens - Senior from Marion

Kylie, thanks for walking around Murphysboro with me for some fun senior shots.

I bet you will never look at a rotten old doorway the same again huh? Brick, grafitti, and old tin has beauty if you can see it in a artistic fashion. At least that's what I think.

Kylie's smile is so contagious!!!! I 'm smiling now just looking at her Senior Graduation Announcement design.

Thanks for choosing us to capture ....... YOU.

Golfing gals gone WILD!

Pam Pauline, Nancy Gozanbach, Debbie Cocke, Donna Kunce, Ruthie Graff, and myself Sherry Reichert enjoying a fun filled day of basically, goofy golf only without the windmills and the clowns that you have to hit in the nose.

As you can see my friend Deb, who is the one with the giant ice cream scooper is finding yet another golf ball that probably cost less than a whole dollar. I'm not sure if the large stick is for scooping golf balls or beating snakes to death. Either way Deb, no one likes a show off.

As for poor Ruthie, we were trying to give her a true feeling of the pressure of what it must feel like to be one of the PGA golfers with spectators. Can she withstand the pressure??? I'd guess!!! She smacks the snot out of the ball everytime!! Notice Pam andNancy not participating in the childish behavior. At least on that hole anyway. As for Donna, she's behind the camera. How does it feel Donna?? Pretty good huh?

Oh the joy of girls on the golf course.

Senior Ryne Ellett

Seeing Ryne again tonight really brings back some memories. Ryne was a little guy running around on a 4-wheeler telling everybody to shut up when I saw him last. He was adorable and a real cutie. I remember taking Ryne to church with me many years ago down in Jacob. Wow! Time flys. Ryne is still adorable. Sorry Ryne, I can't help it. You are! Thanks for the memories. See those pups soon I hope. I love puppy breath.

Ashlei Kopec - my little brother's girlfriend

You know how no girl is ever good enough for your little baby brother. Well, we love Ashlei. Why do we love Ashlei? Because my mother and I use her as a fashion model and she is a willing participant. For example, we told Ashlei to strut her stuff for the camera, and she DID!! She is gorgeous! But, she's also extremely intelligent. This gal has it all.

Ashlei, we expect you to let us take pictures of you when we want. ok? luv ya

Mary and Sherry

Ellee Jane and Avery Jane

These two are adorable cousins and will no doubt grow up having so much fun with each other.

Melinda Guthman and I were talking about how it's supposedly said in Hollywood that all relationships in Hollywood evolve back to Kevin Bacon. Well, I can say that all my clients lead back to the Guthman family. It never fails. Everytime I ask, "Where did you hear about us"? They say, "The Guthman family".

Kevin and I learned early on, that by paying for advertisment you will break the bank.

We both did a lot of research concerning getting our name out there and the one thing that has always held true is - People talk. So, starting there was a sure bet that we would build clients. It's really worked.

Maybe I should rename my business. "Guthman Photography by Sherry"

Tracy Cheatham and little Kealey

Tracy, thanks for letting me photograph you and your beautiful daughter this evening. That's right, I'm still in front of the computer working on your gorgeous pictures.

It's 7:00pm, Kevin is calling wanting to know what's up for dinner and I can't break myself away to go home. He may starve, I dunno.

To me, this picture is too incredible for words.

thanks again

Congratulations Ami and John Lecke

Congratulations Ami and John. I must say my mother and I were so excited to take part in an actual New Orleans style reception. That was really fun! Beads, dancing and tradition.

Here are some of their images. John and Ami live in Atlanta Georgia and came here to Rend lake for their wedding with family. We were delighted to photograph their wedding and bring them our view of their special day.
