While in Mexico, I took this of myself while shooting some little lizards around a mirrored deco box. I thought it turned out kind of cool. Every photog needs some kind of photo of themselves for some reason.

Thanks to the kids at 4H this weekend. I was honored to judge the photography contest. The kids did a really great job. They shot cows, flowers and various trips they had been on not to mention some incredible landscapes. We even have some going to state fair!!!

I was so amazed that they understood composition so well at that age.

Annette, Corbin, Grayson and Grant. Thanks so much for revisiting our studio. It's always so much fun watching these little one's grow up. Annette mentioned she was thinking she had made to picture time without a bump or a bruise on the two boys. Well, on the day before the photo session, they both had a small accident. Corbin walked up to me and said, "What about my big goose egg on my head"?. I said, "photoshop sweety", it fixes everything.

Murphysboro Apple Festival Queen 2005 Dori Lloyd

What an awesome young lady. I enjoyed photographing her because she has such a bubbly and fun personality. I can understand why she was chosen as Queen. I'm proud to say we were able to photograph her here for the Murphysboro Apple Festival.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

As I got up this morning, kicked on the news and drank my coffee, I couldn't help but feel a little patriotic today. I think about the freedoms we have and those that fight for us overseas. God be with our troops in Iraqi. We are so blessed to be in the country we are in.

Congratulations April and Clifford Jackson

April and Clifford Jackson had one of the best receptions I've ever been to. From a photographers aspect, the crowd cut loose and danced like I've never seen. The pictures I took were so fun and lively. I attempted to get a few moves in on the dance floor but the urge to shoot pictures overwelmed me. Come to find out, I was somehow connected to several people at their wedding. Pastor Jim Anderson I use to work with many years ago. Mr. Pink the video guru works with Kevin.

April just glowed as a bride and was so calm and under control. I was impressed because it was a pretty large wedding! Stay tuned for their images on line.
